Asthma CQIC – PI CME Objectives

Target Audience: providers, support staff/care team, and patients
Eligible for up to 20 hours of Category 1 CME Credits by AMA

• Increase awareness of Providers and Patients of the evidence regarding the use of asthma severity and control assessments, patient-specific asthma management plans, and education in improving quality of life and clinical outcomes for patients with asthma.
• Embed actionable evidence-based point of care clinical decision support into patient-provider encounter based on the NHLBI/NAEPP guidelines.
• Provide patient-specific education and goal summaries with each encounter.
• Facilitate improved patient outcomes, workflows, documentation, tracking, and reporting of outcomes.
