Meaningful Use CQIC – PI CME Objectives
Target Audience: providers, support staff/care team, and patients
Eligible for up to 20 hours of Category 1 CME Credits by AMA
AAFP Prescribed Credit: This activity, Meaningful Use:
Performance Improvement CME has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 20 Prescribed credit(s) by the
American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP accreditation begins November 1, 2010. Term of approval is
for two years from this date.
Identify the current final rules for the Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Electronic Health Record Incentive Program and successfully integrate into clinical practice to improve quality of care:
- Increase awareness of Providers and Patients of the core and menu measure objectives of meaningful use of the EHR.
- Embed actionable point of care clinical decision support into patient-provider encounter to facilitate completion of the core and menu measure objectives of meaningful use of the EHR.
- Facilitate improved patient outcomes, workflows, documentation, tracking, and reporting of outcomes.
